Didn't Sam Hill race for Honda on a downhill prototype gearbox bike... I am tired of derailers and poor shifting.. Gearboxes are cool, but as has been said before, money, time, and a huge paradigm shift are needed! It will be left to independent fabricators and. Builders to push the box, not the big bike industry. They have too much invested in tooling and machineary to change now.
